Account Manager(Outside Sales) International Airline Passenger Sales

ANA, Asia's largest airline is due to start its non-stop daily flight from Chicago, O'Hare International Airport to Tokyo, Japan from October 29, 2006.

ANA, the international airline of Japan has a challenging opportunity for an Account Manager responsible for corporate and travel agency accounts in the Central Region(Midwest and South), USA based in Chicago.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Generate passenger traffic for ANA by developing and promoting corporate business with relevant corporations, travel agents and business travelers in the Central Region ad ensure that set revenue objectives are achieved.

 

- Analyze, forecast, and develop all sources of passenger revenue, and plan sales activities to maximize the results within assigned sales territory in accordance with guidlines drawn by Manager, Passenger Sales;

 

- Build and maintain good relationships with all assigned clients;

 

- Evaluate and report on market conditions to ensure ANA maintains market awareness;

 

- Maintain close contact with and provide necessary information to Inside Sales Administration in order to be able to provide services to the satisfaction of clients.

 

Qualifications

Experience - Outside sales eperience  in airline industry or travel industry is required.

 

Education - Associate degree 

required

- Bachelor's degree

preferred

 

REQUIREMENTS

- Strong negotiation/sales skills

- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Effective verbal and written

  communication skills in English(also

  in Japanese preferred)

- Basic fare/ticketing knowledge

- Ability to operate a motor vehicle

  locally and to make out-of-town trips
