Director, Air Sea & Documentation

Creates and maintains processes for the cost-effective control of air for guests, crew and corporate travelers.  Provides for the cost-effective and timely issuance of passenger documentation.

 

Essential Functions:

 

1.  Negotiates air/sea contracts and blocks space with air carriers.

2.  Manages the air block controls, air reservations and ticketing processes.

3.  Creates and maintains processes for the effective control of air costs for guests, crew and corporate travelers.

4.  Develops procedures and policies to effectively control and service air requests including standard  air and air deviations.

5.  Ensures compliance with policies and procedures and develops audit and validation of these policies and procedures.

6.  Develops annual Air/Sea and Documentation budgets.

7.  Coordinates synergy efeforts with other CCL companies to ensure we achieve the best rates and establish the most effective and productive processes.

8.  Coordinates the effective issuance of passenger documentation.  Sets and controls delivery standards.

9.  Controls documentation supply expenses and manages postage costs through the timely delivery of documentation.

 

Qualfications:

1.  Minimum of five years of experience in managing/directing air-reservations/ticketing call centre.

2.  Bachelor's Degree in business administration, marketing or related field

6.  Track record of developing & delivering creative and innovation solutions

7.  Must possess planning, budgeting and forecasting skills.
