EES Technician

STMicroelectronics is currently seeking an EES Technician to support our Phoenix Arizona group.

Candidate needs to be able to perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment failures to component level. The person should demonstrate the ability to read electrical schematics and trace signals. Job function will include the need to have the necessary skills and perform technical ownership tasks on PVD sputter systems and Tungsten CVD systems through root cause analysis of equipment failures to reduce system downtime and prevent wafer scrap. Equipment experience on Endura 5500 and Tungsten CVD P5000 and Centura systems desirable. Hands on experience with equipment mechanical wafer handling alignment and calibrations, vacuum leak checking skills, and systems diagnostics and analysis skills highly desirable. Experience with Ion implantation, other high vacuum equipment, and epitaxy a plus. AAS degree in electronics or military equivalent required. candidate must have ability to implement permanent corrective actions to prevent reoccurring equipment failures and wafer scrap, defectivity reduction, and recommend procedural improvements. Support production as the top priority to ensure high equipment availability. Train TPM techs on PM's. Minimum of 4 years of direct work experience on PVD sputter and CVD equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and repair required.
