Experienced Research Analyst with Significant DoD Experience Sought

Rapidly Expanding DoD Consultant Seeks Senior Research Analyst to Assist in the Interpretation and Coordination of Study Efforts

Position will assist in the Directors Directed Studies Group by leading, coordinating and reviewing directed study efforts.  Assists in establishing and maintaining liaison with DoD agencies, think tanks, academic institutions and Coalition/Allied Forces.  Assists in establishing performance metrics for Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization (JIEDDO) study efforts and assesses study results.  Assists in the development of options for complex strategic issues.  Assists in providing analysis to support command decisions and formulates recommendations for establishing the DoD’s strategic direction for JIEDDO long-term objectives.  Integrates JIEDDO studies and assessments within the DoD.  Assists in facilitating coordination with other government agencies (OGAs).  Assists in the management of long-range strategic studies.  Interfaces with combatant command, joint organizations and/or OGA actions.  Liaises with critical thinkers and strategists in academic and think tank institutions for access to experts and strategic opinions regarding the Joint IED Defeat initiatives.

 

Ideal candidate will have significant experience in liaising with researchers, think tanks and academic institutions within a DoD setting. Candidate will have assisted in the formulation of policy and future action recommendations based on the interpretation and coordination of research.

 

Top Secret Clearance required.
